GENERATION is a new study following the journey of young Australians, as they transition to life beyond school.

Year 10 students from over 1100 schools across the country are being invited to take part in the first year of 10-year national study.

GENERATION aims to track interests, hopes and aspirations of a generation, providing participants, guardians and educators valuable insights into career interests and post-school plans of young people.

When will the survey take place?
The first survey of GENERATION will be conducted with Year 10 students from MAY – NOV 2022.
How will my child be involved?
GENERATION is a chance for your child to share their unique story - what they care about, what they're interested in, and what they hope for in the future. Your child will be asked to voluntarily participate in a 30 minute online survey. They have the right to withdraw from the study at any time, and have their information removed from further use.
